Big Bike Revival events might have ended for 2015, but there’s still lots of ways you can get the most out of any bikes hidden away in your shed or garage. Go to your local cycle centre and you’ll be able to:
I’m the bike you forgot, left to gather dust and cobwebs in the dark.
You’d like to get me out again. But where to start? Punctured tyres, a slipped chain, loose bolts… I really am in need of some TLC.
Fortunately, there are cycle centres all over the country where you can take me to get spruced up. Lovely people are on hand to check me over, repair any poorly parts and help you learn how to keep me in good condition – so you can keep enjoying me again and again.
There are thousands of unused bikes like me lying in sheds and garages across the country. I hope everyone takes this opportunity to restore us and remind themselves how much fun cycling can be.
Find your nearest cycle centre, where you can show your bike a bit of love by getting it fixed or learning how to look after it yourself. You’ll also be able to donate any old bikes you don’t want any more, buy a recycled bike and get handy advice about cycle routes, clubs and activities in your area.
We have lots of fantastic prizes to give away to people attending Big Bike Revival events from 23 May – 7 June!
From new bikes to cycling accessories, it’s all up for grabs in our BIG Prize Draw.

“I think most of us have a lot of happy memories of cycling as a child. Going to your local cycle centre is a great chance to dust off that bike you’ve forgotten about, get back in the saddle and remind yourself how much fun it is!”
